Way to go, New York!

I was thrilled to see that New York legalized "gay marriage" -- I put it in quotes because I don't think it should be considered special. It's really just allowing two people who love each other and want to be married to get married. I think of it as supporting marriage. Or being together.

I don't understand how two men, or women, getting married cheapens my marriage, or the concept of "marriage" in general. I would think that adultery, domestic violence and verbal abuse, and other forms of betrayal or abuse would denigrate the concept of "marriage" far more. But no-one seems to believe that. Guess I just don't get it.

Now, if California would only do the same soon . . .

Thoughts from a Sunday night.

This will contain random thoughts and posts that may, or may not, be of interest to people. These may be related to my work (computer security) or completely random. Also, don't assume I agree with everything here, because I may change my mind, or may be posting to vent about something.
